The new ‘failure to prevent fraud offence’ will soon be coming into force. Many companies are currently considering how they will be caught by the new offence, and what procedures need to be enhanced to manage fraud risks.

This roundtable event will facilitate discussion between peer companies and industry experts – facilitated by Norton Rose Fulbright and Forensic Risk Alliance – on the following:

  1. How to conduct your risk assessment and identify how the offence might arise in practice;
  2. How to approach enhancing your policies and procedures;
  3. How non-UK companies might be affected – and what this means for group compliance programmes;
  4. Cross-over with existing fraud prevention programmes, and integration with existing ethics and compliance programmes;
  5. Financial controls - what to look for and how to determine relevance; and
  6. Practical tips on how to get started with the review, including stakeholders to consider / manage.

We invite participants to submit questions and discussion points in advance of the session.

This in-person roundtable event will include a light lunch.
