Failure to prevent fraud roundtable
Join us at this invitation only roundtable to gain practical strategies, insights and best practice to ensure your business is prepared for compliance with the new 'failure to prevent fraud' offence.
The new ‘failure to prevent fraud offence’ comes into force on 1 September. In response, many companies continue to focus on (i) how best to assess the fraud risks within their business, (ii) mapping their existing procedures to relevant fraud risks, and (iii) making enhancements to their policies and procedures
This facilitated discussion intends to being peer companies together to share compliance challenges and best practices, as companies work towards reasonable fraud prevention procedures. This event intends to provide a space for attendees to discuss their experiences of:
- Getting senior management on board (and resourcing and responsibility challenges)
- Approach to entities outside the UK
- How best to manage your risk assessment and gap analysis, including:
- what has, and hasn’t worked when getting buy in and gathering risks
- types of risks and gaps commonly identified
- how to present the findings in manageable and practical way to develop an action plan
- Developing policies, procedures and training
- Quick wins and longer term enhancements commonly required
The roundtable is kindly hosted by Norton Rose Fulbright at their central London offices on Tuesday 23 September from 12-2pm. A working lunch is included.
