| This section is designed to give lecturers
in business ethics some help and advice on teaching the subject and supporting
their students' learning. Business ethics is a discursive subject. It can best
be learnt through discussion and debate, informed by an understanding of the principles,
concepts and theories that relate to the subject. This link will take you to a
section that provides information on teaching methods
and techniques that are designed to encourage discussion and argument. Because
it deals directly with questions of value, the teaching of business ethics is
also perhaps more than usually replete with controversies about exactly how it
should be taught. Some of the more important of such controversies are dealt with
in the Teaching Issues half of this section.
