The case studies have been organised to a common format although some are long and others short and they cover a wide range of topics. They all include

  • an abstract or summary of the case
  • a list of keywords.
  • the case study
  • a list of questions or issues that the student using of the case study should think about.
  • a list of any references cited in the case.
  • a brief tutors' guide, around about a 1,000 words, to give some indication of the range of issues/ considerations and theories the case study is intended to illuminate.
  • Sometimes they also include a short bibliography of reading relevant to the case.
