| The broadest relevant coverage will be
provided by textbooks in what is usually categorised as 'business law'. As with
any law textbook, being recent is vital and going through multiple editions a
recommendation: e.g. Keenan, D. 2003. (12th edn.). Law for Business. Harlow: Pearson
Education. For more detail in the particularly relevant areas of company,
employment and environmental law, again consult a recent and multi-editioned textbook,
with the most useful from a business ethics viewpoint probably being those providing
some kind of social context rather than 'black letter' textbooks simply stating
what the law is. For such a contextual approach, see ,for example : Davies,
P. L. 2003 (7th edn.). Gower and Davies's Principles of Company Law. London: Sweet
& Maxwell; Pitt, G. 2006 (6th edn.). Employment Law. London: Sweet & Maxwell;
Bell, S. and McGillivray, D. 2005 (6th edn.). Environmental Law. London: Blackstone
Press.
