The IBE carries out research into business ethics issues and the ways that organisations and their employees can effectively embed ethical values into their practice and decision making.
These projects aim to provide practical and guidance and advice for our subscribers and other organisations wishing to advance the effectiveness of their ethics policies and programmes. The results of our research projects are disseminated through our publications (see below).
If you would like information about an existing project or would consider sponsoring one, or would like to suggest a topic for future research, please get in touch with us on +44 (0)20 7798 6040 or email us at: email@example.com

The Ethical Aspects of Corporate Governance in Europe
This report will show how, to date, policy and guidance on corporate governance at the EU level and its member states seems to be lacking in explicit reference to ethical values and behaviours. Some, notably the UK and Belgium, have begun to address this deficit. The report will look in detail at issues such as transparency, accountability, conflicts of interest and diversity at board level. This report will provide a comparative overview of the ethical aspects of corporate governance frameworks in Europe, and raise awareness of key differences in principles of good governance and what this means in practice about the right way to govern a business.
