This new publication sets out the findings of the fifth IBE
survey of FTSE350 companies on how they use and implement
their codes of ethics. The Institute has been conducting this
survey since 1995 and so can chart trends and changes in the
way companies use their codes of ethics to embed their values
within company culture. There are some significant changes
over the last three years
.How do companies use and implement their codes of ethics?
This report reveals the findings of the fifth IBE survey
sent to FTSE 350 companies with codes. It shows:
- the ways in which companies seek to maximise the effectiveness
of their codes
- trends in the rationale for codes
- the ethical issues perceived as most important for business
- how codes address climate change issues
The report provides a guide to managers wishing to understand
current practice and mechanisms for implementing and embedding
ethical policies and accompanying codes.
