| The Institute of Business Ethics has a wealth of practical
business experience in the field of ethics, and can offer
advice to companies on a wide-range of issues. Subscribers
benefit from up to one day per year of free consultancy
(depending on their size). Additional work is charged
at the discounted daily rate of £750.
The IBE responds to the needs of subscribers and others,
but does not actively 'pitch' for business. However,
if your company has an ethics issue it needs advice
on, a be-spoke ethics training requirement, or advice
on development, revision, or embedding a code, then
please contact the director, Philippa Foster Back.
Advisory work which the IBE team has undertaken recently
includes:
- Developing codes of ethics for a paper manufacturer,
an on-line bank, a mobile phone company and the world's
leading food service company.
- Comparing compliance & ethics functions for
a multinational reviewing its structure
- Benchmarking the business principles of a large
petroleum company against other codes of ethics
- Reviewing a Whistleblowing policy for a building
society
- Reviewing a supply chain policy for a large insurance
firm
- Stakeholder dialogues
- Employee facilitation with dialogue for business
principles
The IBE can also provide be-spoke ethics training for
your company. Recent projects have ranged from:

company and a major utility firm
